Somewhere there is a subcomittee being born over this new gem from Rockstar. It seems that our new favorite protagonist, Jimmy Hopkins, is not keen on kissing young girls exclusively in Bully, as Gay Gamer has video proof of "hot" boy-on-boy kissing action! |

Bungie.net is reporting that the Halo Movie project is still "on track" despite the project losing its two financial and production backers Universal and Fox.
The reality here at Bungie towers is a feeling of optimism, satisfaction and happiness for reasons we can’t go into. Frankly we’re interested in making the best movie, and it’s possible that a partner who’s more concerned with numbers, might not be the best partner for what’s more vitally a creative process. Suffice it to say that Peter, Neill, Fran and Microsoft are as excited and dedicated as ever and WETA continues the pre-production process. Actually, when you do finally get to see the stuff WETA has already made, you will probably pee a little.
I wish this was Bnet’s story to reveal to you, but it has lots more to do with what Microsoft biz guys and the powerful and influential Mr. Jackson are up to, than with yours truly. Hopefully however, we can share excellent news with you in the next few weeks.

1Up is reporting that PS3 titles will not have forced Entitlements (think Achievements for the Xbox 360).
"We didn't mention that, but it is our intention that we would have it -- although I think it would be game-centric. It's very difficult to draw analogies [between] your success on SOCOM and your success on Madden. Madden players care about peoples' success on Madden," said Jack Tretton, Sony Computer Entertainment America exec VP. "So the publisher will have the flexibility to have a robust ranking system, on a game-by-game basis."

Joystiq has ripped some information from MTV's coverage of Gamer's Day that may interest some of your hopeful PS3 owners. According to the author, Stephen Totilo, you can install the core assets of Genji ont your HDD, thereby decreasing your load times.
Also unexpected was a feature in Genji to install the game, committing 4GB of data from the game's Blu-ray disc to the PS3's hard drive -- a three-minute one-time-only procedure available from the game's start menu that a Sony rep said cuts down in-game load times from about 15 seconds to four seconds."
So far only Genji has been confirmed to suppor this feature. Hopefully more titles will allow for the same "installation", as all PS3 consoles contain a HDD. |

So tonight I decided to unwind and catch up on this season's Battlestar Galactica, only to find that my DVR, in its infinite wisdom, only recorded the season opener. So here I am, wasting my precious porn pipe bandwidth dowloading the missing episodes so I can watch them, not on my large ass projection screen, but on my modest 20" CRT monitor. If it weren't for the internet, Mr Motorola DVR would be getting a serious ass kicking tonight.
What was the first show you downloaded off of the internet because you missed it when it originally aired? My first television download experience was back in 1995 when I was downloading episodes of Neon Genesis Evangelion on my 56K modem in VIV format. |
