4 color rebellion is reporting that the Nintendo Wii Opera browser will be free for the first 6 months of use. After this point, you will need to purchase the browser, unless, you downloaded within the first 6 months, then you get it free! For the first six months, Opera on Wii is free. If you download it during that period, it is free forever. You will not have to pay again after the first six months. It is only if you download it after the first six months that you will have to pay a one-time fee for the browser. So it seems that there is an advantage of buying a console at launch.

Microsoft has sent word over that Gears of War has gone Gold and should hit retail shelves around November 9, with an official launch of November 12. The delay of Assassin's Creed makes me very sad, as that was probably my most anticipated game. The delay, for me, can only drown out some of the luster the game had, as it gives other developers time to react to the animation innovations Assassin's Creed was going to bring to the table. What is/was your most anticipated game this year? I am really looking forward to Gears of War and Zelda: Twilight Princess. Prior, I would have to say Okami.
