Microsoft Corp. announced agreements with CBS, MTV Networks, Paramount Pictures, Turner Broadcasting System Inc. (TBS Inc.), Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and Warner Bros. Home Entertainment to bring an initial lineup of over 1,000 hours of hit TV shows and movies to Xbox 360™ gamers in the U.S. by the end of the year. Furthermore, Xbox 360 will be the first gaming console to bring standard and high-definition TV shows and movies via digital distribution over the Internet directly to the consumer. Beginning Nov. 22, on its first anniversary, Xbox 360 will be the first gaming console in history to provide high-definition TV shows and movies directly to gamers in their living rooms. Word is from Xbox 360 that Itagaki, the man behind Ninja Gaiden, Dead or Alive and the ludicrously physics oriented Dead or Alive Extreme 2, is being sued for sexual harassment. Tomonobu Itagaki, the man behind Xbox hits Ninja Gaiden and the Dead or Alive series, has been formally charged with sexual harassment. According to ZAKZAK, the former employee -- she quit on September 10th -- claims that she had a physical relationship with Itagaki since 2003 and is asking for the sum of 10 million yen (US $85,000). Itagaki acknowledges the relationship, but claims that it was consensual. Itagaki has reportedly been demoted at Team Ninja, though it is unclear if this was done as punishment or if it was done to downplay his image in court. So many levels of irony, so little time.

Have you ever heard of USB? Did you know that the XBox 360 supports it? Seriously. I'm sick of hearing news stories about the Xbox 360 featuring media download services and then 100+ comments about how the 20gb HD (which I agree is crap) isn't enough for HD TV shows and movies blah blah blah... but the damn thing has USB motha-f-in ports. For about $100 I could get a 200+gb HD hooked up to the damn thing. Sorry.. a stupid rant.. and totally random.. but I just wanted to add.. THE XBOX 360 SUPPORTS USB HARD DRIVES.
